Same reports I got, from a couple real good clubs with their own resting areas…. Hope the snow makes them act stupid tomorrow, dragging the wife with me and talking a big game…. Hope I'm right

2 groups of my buds killed 12 and 9 today. They said not many were flying but the ones that were wanted to work. I'll be with them tomorrow.

One short of a three man yesterday at thorny. Today 2. They picked up and left or stayed on the refuge. One more morning to go.

Yesterday and today were absolutely pitiful. Don't know what happened to the big push but there's no ducks where I hunt.

We threw in the towel at 10:00 this morning. Only had 4 ducks. Would have thought with it clearing and the sun shining that they would have really done it today. Probably didn't see 200 ducks total. Hard to figure anymore. Sure ain't like it used to be!

Yesterday was tough couldn't keep snow off decoys. Ducks were finicky in the snow and bugged out everytime at 50 yards… Saw some good groups of what I hoped to be "new ducks"….

Didn't touch my gun today. Packed my stuff and left. Probably wouldn't be back if I didn't have guests next weekend. Duck numbers in our bottom have really fallen off in the last 2 years…

We saw less than 15 ducks this morning when we called it at 10

Ducks finally showed up in our neck of the woods Thursday. Unfortunately they only stayed 2 days. Saw a lot of ducks yesterday and probably saw a quarter of that today. Was planning to hunt the next 4 days but we packed up and came home.

Sat.17, 2 Canada's, Sun 7, 1 snow. However. Killed a band fri, sat, sun. Lol. Watching brutal air mass first of next week. Hope it holds together. Fingers crossed.

The last week has been pretty incredible up until Saturday/Sunday put us back in the mid teens. I figured that would happen after the snow day, as it almost always does. We've been fortunate.

Teal, canvasbacks, redheads and a few mallards have moved in. We have had pretty good hunts the last couple of days. There are the usual Jacks around as well as pintails
