Well me and Man went to the 1,000 acre lake today and went after the elusive large mouth bassasourous.

I caught 18 and he caught 16.
Big fish of the day was, of course, the one that got away.
We pulled up on a flat first thing this morning and Man started a beat down on them with a fluke.
He missed & lost probably 10 and caught about that many too.
Biggest was, I'm guessing, 5 to 5 1/2 pounds that came off right at the boat. :(

Of my 18 at least 10 of them were between 2 1/2 & 3 1/2 pounds.
Best day of bass fishing I have had in a long time for sure.

Absolutely beautiful day and spending it with my best buddy made it even better.
Lots of fish and lots of laughs.
Great great day for sure.

It gets hit pretty hard but not like crazy.
Lots of recreational boaters there but about half the lake is no wake so they don't usually bother us.
Lots of people that fish apparently have no clue what a no wake area is though. LOL

There was a CRAP TON of people there today though, most I ever seen there honestly.
Still caught lots of fish and only had one of "our" spots that someone was in.
Well they weren't actually in the spot we wanted to fish but it looked like they were headed that way so we didn't want to drop in on them and just went somewhere else.
 
Sounds like it's time to break out my kayak. I will be on the lake tomorrow but it's a Mother's Day king of thing and won't be fishing lol. Glad y'all had great outing
