What a hunt

Well let's say I'm more thankful for this deer than anything. Since my dad died 8 years and 11 day ago. After a lengthy court battle I was able to secure his remington 700bdl 243. It has not been hunted with since he died been in safe and not been able to hunt with it (emotionally). Well I took it out on his date of death and said I was going to hunt with it rest of season and have passed one small buck because I was a mile from truck. Well today was the day and it was very humble when I pulled the trigger. This buck is to remember my dad and I am tickled pink for him.
Congrats brother!

I'm sure a highly emotional moment was had when you walked up to expired buck. So happy for you. These are the moments truly worth living for. Glad that legacy piece gets to stay in the family.

Did you say the state of TN gets everything without a will or just guns for kids under 18? A bit confused on the law. It's a good reminder to get a living will and trust setup

The kid that is under 18 gets everything that does not have a lone against it (payment ) so cloths, gun, furniture, house if its paid off and cars. That only if not married or have a will. Then let's say my dad had a wife it would all go to her or if even all kids are over 18 then they split belongings or go to court and fight for it. At least that's how the judge and lawyers explained it to me when he died 8 years ago.
