What a hunt

Well let's say I'm more thankful for this deer than anything. Since my dad died 8 years and 11 day ago. After a lengthy court battle I was able to secure his remington 700bdl 243. It has not been hunted with since he died been in safe and not been able to hunt with it (emotionally). Well I took it out on his date of death and said I was going to hunt with it rest of season and have passed one small buck because I was a mile from truck. Well today was the day and it was very humble when I pulled the trigger. This buck is to remember my dad and I am tickled pink for him.

Great sentiment for your Dad. I would be honored if one of my sons did the same for me one day. I'm sure your dad feels the same as me. Congratulations on a great buck with the memories of a lifetime to go with it.
