What are you guys using to get a pic?

Trophy Rock (salt lick).

Starting in September, I switch my cameras to non-baited locations and run them on non-baited locations through January.

Trophy rocks for me! We have 14 cameras out on 2 different properties. I use to use corn, but just dont anymore.

A trophy rock or the red mineral salt you buy at your local co-op. And pour some grape kool-aid powder over it. Deer love it. I have gotten pics less than 30 minutes after putting it out and putting the grape kool-aid powder onto it.

July 15 - Sep 15 - salt licks, bean fields and water holes
Sep 15 - Oct 15 - travel corridors, terrain features, natural funnels and the occasional persimmon and white oak (rare)
Oct 15 - Jan 15 - primarily scrapes, with a few true white flash trail cams on known travel corridors

EXCELLENT plan.
