What did you do today in the reloading room?

I measured the throat length in my Model 70 7mmWSM w/ 160g Accubond. Exactly 3.00" for my COAL to touch the lands; quite a bit of room past the SAAMI of 2.86".

Have you measured how long of a bullet you can fit in the mag?

I have not measured my mag, but I have the same gun and it will also feed bullets well over saami

Loaded 10 fresh rounds of 270. 145 grain eld x over 52 grains of imr4350.

Loaded a few .257 weatherby loads to check accuracy and verify velocity after running a ladder last week. Also loaded a few 6.5-284 Norma loads to verify accuracy after previous load development (mainly because I gave up on the digital scale).

Found a container chock full of 2000 pieces of 223 brass, every last one crimped primer. I purchased them in error quite some time ago and told myself when I break a leg or get snowed in I'll fire up my crimp remover and go to town. No broken leg but a medical issue and couldn't go chain sawing so was going through some boxes and found them, still in the USPS box from my friend at BrassmanBrass

So, tumble in corn cob until all were clean enough to work with. Then small base FL size and decap. Then chamfer inside case mouth. Then SS tumble, dry, and begin to un-crimp. Finish that step then prime. On to powder charge step.

Charging 200 at a time then loading 55 gr FMJ.

Objective is to charge and load at least 200 a day.

So far have loaded 400 223 with 24.5 gr of Shooters World Tac rifle.

The mountain looks pretty steep.

I hadn't loaded any in awhile but, loaded about 20 .357 hunting loads today. Rem. 158 gr. JHP with 17.0 gr. H110 and Federal small magnum primers. I want to get some Hodgdon Lil' Gun and experiment with it some.
