Ran function test on the new ballistic advantage 6 arc barrel/upper with my handloads this morning. Cycled flawlessly. Will load the remaining primed brass with the same recipe.

Yep, that does look like you made a mistake.
Interesting our 6.5 (Savage Axis) has such a tight chamber I think the max I can go is.0.020 over SAAMI spec. The rifle has not been happy with any charge weight, type, bullet, or seating depth. Put so much effort into it and while some recipes are better than others none are even close to what I expected. The accuracy is not bad and I can carry it into the field without worry but I want to see some cloverleafs.
My reloading bench is dusty, thanks to the craziness. I've got enough hunting ammo loaded for a long time, so I'll save my components until I can replenish as I go.
I'm not hurting, just don't want to burn thru stuff. Bummer too, because I usually load and do most of my range testing from now til March.

Realize I am low on my 243 ammo and out of bullets so off to the internet to order more

I've had best luck so far with the 6.5 Creed and 140s using H4831 45.0 has shot well in a couple different factory rifles.

I loaded Ethan a few 308 rounds to coyote hunt using his Model 7SS
Lapua brass Sierra 150 SBTGK and 44.0 IMR8208

Loaded up some more 7mm-08 rounds for my sons Christmas rifle. Still using 120 NBT's but with Varget this time. Now I just need some good weather and time off to hit the range.

Measured headspace on 6arc fired brass. Adjusted sizing die and resized the remaining 75 pcs of Lapua 6.5 grendel to 6arc. Will trim later. Swaged primer pockets on about 500 pieces of 223 range brass.

Loaded some 338-06 with 205gr hammer bullets for development purposes.
Also annealed and sized 400 cases of 6.5x47 Lapua for my match rifle.

Sized 50 6.5x47L cases and primed with Rem 7 1/2s
I'm gonna run some tests soon at 200 yards with 108 and 123 Scenars for a 200 yard group match in Feb where the conditions are usually really bad
I've studied on the 108s and hoping I can get them to shoot with 8208 or A2495 the 123s will shoot I know with H4895 and Varget

Started playing with my expander mandrel set tonight. It sure feels smooth while expanding necks. Did a little bit of 243 that will be fire formed into 243 AI.

Good looking scales
Not really anything from the reloading room, but did finally get out to the range yesterday to test my new to me Remington 700 6.5 Creedmoor. Factory Federal fusion, just what I had on hand that I didn't care to use up, and showing promise I think. Hoping handloads will awaken it's potential.
