This morning I set up and the birds were gobbling, then a hen started yelping. I started to mimic the hen. Well, she came out and almost sat in my lap, but the other birds went the other way. Why did she come right to me?
What does this mean?

Maybe a lone Jennie that's not with the rest of the flock? I've called in several single hens already this year, I always do, they seem to just be looking for a companion. Unlike the boss hens in the flocks that start cutting back at you aggressively, the lone ones like to yelp a lot and come right to your lap by themselves
