I'm not convinced he was shot with shotgun. Someone else posted a buck here yesterday that looked just like that. Tried finding it but came up empty so far

From just that one pic I wouldn't suspect anything is wrong with him. Just looks like some ruffed up hair and wore out. Might have been a long day chasing.

Nothing is wrong with him, he has not been "shotgunned", cocle burrs or beggars lice or the sort, if you zoom in enough you can see em, he just been in the thick stuff

This. One picture isn't enough to say. I often get single images that make a deer look deformed or injured, only for a subsequent picture making it clear the first picture was just the deer caught in the midst of moving their body oddly.

Yea, If it was a shotgun they had an auto with full choke at close range cause he's marked from ham to neck. Plus where's the blood?

Possibly, nothing. Perhaps he just got up out of his bed. I've seen deer with very disheveled fur as they get up from a bed.

One picture can be very deceiving.

I didn't comment earlier. But I'm glad I'm not the only one. I don't think anything is wrong from that picture. But you'll know for sure if you get a few more pictures or a couple videos.
