I think Tennessee should be ahead of OSU because they lost at home to a 3 touchdown underdog,we will see what the commitee thinks!

On a different note, that's a sight you can't easily unsee
There will be a little more movement in the top group of teams. I think UT will move up one or two spots and end up playing Penn State in Knoxville as my 1st guess and Indiana in Knoxville as my 2nd guess. I'm not going to venture at a 3rd guess and beyond.

Im sure they dont want 2 sec teams hosting games along with the SEC CHAMP getting a 1st rnd bye. Right now, they have TN playing at Ost. Sun or Mon(not sure which day) will be the final ranking, TN may or may not move but there will be teams moving around TN. Depends on who wins the conference championships: ACC and BIG12, depending on who wins will shake things up at the current top 4. Then things will roll down the other 8. ND will move to #5 (because that is the highest non-conference champ teams can be ranked under the CFP rankings). The CPF chairman said teams that dont play a conf championship game will not be moved (I dont believe that). It will be the conference champs moving along with the highest ranked conference losers. I think thats how it is, right now

I do know this,Tennessee got screwed!Any team that lost on its home field to a 3 touchdown underdog dont deserve a opening home game.This commitee is biased as all get out!I had rather Tennessee be a lower seed and going to Indiana!!
I dont understand exactly how they had UT at 7, but they are a 9 seed??

I understand that, but if Georgia loses, they will be a 3 loss team.
To me, that and/or Penn St losing bad are the only way that we move up.
If they are close games, I don't see either falling behind us.
My understanding was he clarified that. The teams not playing will remain in the same relative positions to other teams not playing. For example, if Penn State loses, they may move back in the rankings and Ohio State and Tennessee may jump above Penn State but Ohio State would still remain ahead of Tennessee. The teams playing in the championship games can move and cause non-playing teams to shift.
