What is your Kinetic Energy for this Season?

How many are just guessing to any part of that equation? I've tinkered "more than average" with bow set ups over the last 20 years, and for the most part averaging a high 40ke-low 50ke. Even some of the stoutest rigs I've seen assembled was hovering around 70ke.
I've been "out" for bout 2 years in the competive archery, or archery at all actually mart, but I'd suffice to say these numbers expressed above are well above what I've actually seen. Guess I need to dust my equip off and get back to the chalkboard.
I'd be interested to see if you guys/gals retest and get a higher/lower number. Anyway.....good luck.

Well there are several KE calculators online. It's simple. Shoot your arrow through a chronograph. Take note of the arrow speed and weigh the arrow. Plug arrow speed and arrow weight into the calculator and there is your KE.

Is it possible that your confusing KE with momentum? My KE is 63.73 but my momentum is .454. That sound alittle closer to your numbers.
