If this is the only time you can get off to go back home I'd go back home. Always figured the rut was late January like south Alabama but if you can't go then it doesn't matter. Good luck wherever you go.

Well, it's official. Spoke with my brother-in-law today. I'll be headed to the farm next week to try and tag a south Georgia buck. Should be a good time.
