Where are you going to hunt?

Gonna spend lot more time in the National Forest here in my area this year. Gonna do some back country camping this season as well. That's something I haven't done in years there.

I just got on a new lease in Hickman County. I can't wait to get some stands put up and get in the woods. I'm not crazy about putting up stands in the summer with leaves on but not much choice when you get on a new lease in the summer. Oh well, much better than not having a lease.

If I lived in Paris, I would put the checkbook away and so some more research. Henry County is a top 5 deer kill county. Depending on his age, your son is guaranteed to draw an LBL youth quota hunt. There is a lot of good hunting within an hour-1.5 of you. I would hunt public in KY.

I drive 4.5 hours to hunt near Paris.

My only option and that is public land everywhere I see fit in Region III. May add a short archery trip to LBL. Good luck and like someone said you are in a great part of TN to be chasing whitetail.
