Where is my buddy...Setterman?

I better not answer.

Bo...this would be fun!!

Setter has never upset me...so I will hush and fear the HOOK.

I've never met him but I would like to. He obviously knows his business when it comes to killing turkeys. Anybody that kills that many turkeys every year on public ground has my respect.

Better be afraid :) . I will try to post some pics later, even though posting pics of dead stuff usually isn't my thing. I will give you all some to look at.

Sneaking out this morning hoping for #4 in TN...

Is this a true statement Setterman? Do you exclusively hunt public land when you travel out of state to turkey hunt? It seems that I recall from posts in the past you mentioning private farms in some of the southern states (MS, AL) that you once managed or oversaw (maybe while in college or after college)? I could be mistaken, but was wondering if my mind served me right. Thanks in advance. Congrats on a FINE season and hope you connect with #4 this morning.

I only hunt public land here and KY. Out of state I am usually on some primo private ground to be honest. Whether it be my own, lease, or a friends.

Well did you get him

Haha, he.ll no. Never heard the first peep. The place I went is loaded as well. Low clouds and wind must have kept them quiet. This is the longest I have ever hunted in TN without limiting out, however I have also been able to spend about 1/3 of the time in the woods I normally do as well. I will find him soon.

I wish I could limit out so I could sleep in. I have been off on vacation the last couple of weeks and getting up at 4:30 chasing birds day after day is wearing on me!

I only have one more left Doug but I want to wait til May to kill a big boy!

Also I;m fixin to take my buddies and try and try to get them on one. Not to say if a 2.5 yr old step in front of the ole shotgun that spit is holding he won't be put to sleep!
