Anyone else used it? got it at academy for $22.99 and tax.
im brand new to calling, but it said not to apply much pressure...but my hand'd like to die before it makes a good purr

hold the striker farther up than you do for a yelp... for example, you may hold it like a pencil for a yelp but move your fingers an inch or two higher on the striker and hold it tighter, should get you a purr. Just keep practicing. I have a cheap HS. Strut slate call but it makes turkey noises, that's what counts.
