winter fishing

Anybody been lately? Wondering what the lake temps are. Other than the floatnfly, what is your favorite winter method for smallmouth?

I was at the Hick yesterday and water was 52, I hear Center Hill is the same. I don't fish FF, the 3 baits I fish most are a 1/8 to 3/8 hair jig in brown/orange, brown,black, white, and yellow with a trailer, a Whirly Bee and a 4"-5" worm Texas rigged. Heading to the Hill on Christmas day.

I don't used the FF either, I like the hair jigs too.

Last Thursday the hill was 51 At daybreak and 54 at 2 pm. Stayed on the upper end tho. Caught all 3 flavors. jigs, hair flys, finesse worm on a shaky head, and a jerkbait. 2-7 FOW. Water was up in the bushes
