Wish granted

Unfortunately it's where we are and what is needed. We warned of this for a long time, all the way back to the 4 bird limit. We were called crazy, leave other hunters alone etc.

Again we pleaded to leave the decoys at home, and stop killing jakes, Again we were called elitist etc.

IMO all the if it's legal it's fine crowd is getting their due now. Yes it sucks, but new age tactics and kill at all costs have led us down this road.

Hopefully this helps, and it should by giving the birds several extra weeks to breed before the decoy crowd has at them. Also, maybe this will push deeper into the breeding cycle and make decoys less effective, allowing for more survival.

Its almost comical to see the exact people who advocated for leave us alone, now complaining when the regs went super restrictive.

Hate to say I told you so, but I did…

Like @scn said earlier, too many hunters care way less about the resource than they do their social media likes OR their stream of income. Some guys make a lot of money off their ability to put game on the ground, on camera, and it's dead animals that bring in the bucks.

Yes. Commercial hunting is why deer and turkey had to be re-stocked in the first place. Its back.
