Worst shotgun you have ever owned?

Benelli SBEs are very sensitive to dirty/rusty recoil springs. Have have put many in that I replaced with Sure Cycle springs. Standing them up in a duck blind in the rain allows the water to run in the rear of the receiver. One reason I like the Vincis, Stoegers or certain gas guns as the assist spring is in the front under the hand guard or in the case of a Vinci in the receiver.
Well I don't duck hunt and this may sound like I am a pansy but I do not hunt in the rain I don't do anything in the rain. You can't talk me into drinking the best whiskey or hooking up with a hot chick in the rain. That is the one thing that my 24+ years in the Army made me hate. Laying out in the woods for days on end getting soaking wet, muddy, cold because it's 45 degrees and pi$$ing on you for two days straight while your sleeping directly on the ground. Nope not gonna happen lol.

The group of guys in Arkansas that we leased our pit from looked at it and took it apart too, but none of them could figure out what was going on with it either. My buddy, that never had a problem with his, always joked and said we were "cleaning them too much". Benneli's definitely aren't cheap, but I ended up spending more on the Beretta o/u and let me tell ya, I have never shot skeet, clays and birds better with any other gun. It fits me like I was born with it.
I have never owned a Beretta or Weatherby but those are gonna be on my list. Not sure which models though.

I don't know if they still make the 686 onyx chambered in 3 1/2", but that is what I bought. It has been abused, which comes with waterfowl hunting, and has a Krylon camo job now, but keeps right on thumping! True work horse, love that gun!

I would probably use it for turkey. I need another turkey gun like I need a hole in my head though. I shoot skeet occasionally maybe like four or five times a year just for $hits and giggles. Pretty much I go and embarrass myself 🤣

I have been looking at the A300 in 20 gauge.

I had one of the first model Mossberg 3.5" pumps. I think it was a 835. You could only shoot Remington 3.5" shells in it. Winchester and federal 3.5" shells were longer once fired and they would get stuck in the chamber. I had to use a stick to push the shell out of the chamber. Sold it and bought an 870 Supermag and have never had any issues with it. Probably shot 4 or 5 cases through it and it still works great.

Same here. 686 onyx with 3-1/2" chambers. Went from high80s to 92-93 consistently. Just fits better. Absolute hammer with the brileys tubes

Only shotgun I had that I hated was a Ithaca 20g, lever action single shot, dang thing would hurt your hand every time you shot it, lever would either pinch you or the sharp edges would dig in. Wish I had my o/u savage back, 410/22 always wanted another but 20g and 22 mag, I am going to stick with semiauto from now on though.

I have three that come to mind.

Late 90's Winchester 1300 Black Shadow…couldn't stand it…nothing mechanical just thought it was cheesy. Impulse purchase.

The other was a Remington 11-87 that I just couldn't get with after shooting an 870 SPS for years…went back to it and killed more ducks.

Won a Steven's 310 at at a NWTF banquet a few years ago. Shot it one time and sold it…
