Finally saw deer in the morning on my drive to work today. Been weeks since I seen any on the morning commute, all in hay fields. A nice 8 pushing three does around in one, and then two loners in separate fields just cruising. Ought to be a fabulous next week.

Mostly dismal in SW Hickman. Seeing tons of deer, just very, very few older bucks

Chasing exploded on my place around the 17th. Chases going on everywhere. Looks like drought delayed the rut about 10 days in my area.
