We found him yesterday afternoon a whole 35 yards from where he shot him. Needless to say he was stoked.

As he should be! That's a fantastic TN buck!!!

Last thing on kill thread about this, yes it really does 352fps but is seriously flawed for hunting being it came out in '96. 15%let off just to start

That is smoking for a loaded bow for sure. I worked in the design and manufacturing of HCA in the mid 90s and their Max Force bow only reached 333fps, and that was bare bow, bare arrow and with a bullet point. I watched the initial test in person, and the shooter bent the limbs back pretty hard to get that even.

Thanks, Ive been a Howard Hill fan since 1975. I was a kid and read a story in Outdoor Life in 75 about Hill's passing, about the same time my Grandparents were selling their farm ( they were in their 80's) and moving to town at Lafayette. Me and dad were moving their stuff and in the rafters in the basement we found an old lemonwood longbow. I was on cloud 9 doing my best to copy Hill with my first longbow. That was almost 50 years ago.
