2024 Kill Thread

My son killed his first deer this past weekend. He's hooked now!

Took an extra day to find him unfortunately. My son shot him right at sundown on Sunday evening from about 230 yds. Befuddled we couldn't find any blood, but I was almost certain the way he reacted he'd been hit. Finding them at night can be so hard. We found him yesterday afternoon a whole 35 yards from where he shot him. Needless to say he was stoked.
That's a good one! Congratulations young man!!!
 
I was born in New Mexico, so it's always been to go back and hunt Mule Deer as an adult. The unit is not a high demand unit but there are good bucks.

4 hard days hunting at almost 10,000 feet. Pulled the trigger this morning at sunrise. I'm exhausted but very happy fellas.

Congrats that's a great mule deer. Wish we had snow here in south central KY

Congrats!!! I'm a little jelly. Lived in unit 34 for 11yrs and never once drew a tag.

Dude that is awesome! What unit? Did you use an outfitter. Congratulations!
