It's cold out! I have a doc appointment at 3:40. If I can get in on time and out quick then I plan to go this afternoon. Should be able to be in the stand by 4:30ish. I'm off Friday and then our 2 day mz hunt is this weekend. Low's are in the high 30's so it will be nice. I will probably freeze though. This time of year I get cold quick when it's cold in the mornings and warm in the afternoons.

This was from a quick two hour sit Tuesday night. The cold wind was howling too.

It's a beautiful day in Edmonson county. 34 degrees. Sunny. Slight breeze from north. I'm in the bow condo on a finger ridge. Ended up seeing 5 bucks, one a shooter, 8 doe and 3 fawns. That was this morning. Got back in blind about 3pm and right away doe and fawn. They are eating white oak acorns not the corn. This finger ridge has a lot of acorns.

Got home from work and in the stand at 4:45. It feels great out.

Had a couple 2.5 y o looking bucks come by earlier, got the blood pumping . Now just a bunch of nut munchers making noise.
