There's a squirrel nest above my head apparently. Just had a owl all over my tree chasing these squirrels. WOW WHAT AN EXPERIENCE.

Had these squirrels going up and down my tree and climbing sticks like mad men

then the owl swooped in right on my tree at that nest and came back twice after that. When he ever landed in front of me on a tree, what a sight and not he was big

I've only ever seen a squirrel caught one time and it was a hawk that got it. Pretty amazing to watch.

I saw 4 deer in the rain. Got some good intel. Found an oak tree dropping. Lots of feeding sign. I'll sure be back!!

I enjoy seeing people's views from the stand. I started it off last year but was surprised I didn't see one from the velvet hunt or from some of the KY hunters yesterday.

First sit of the year. Sitting in a little hardwood bottom. Acorns are falling like crazy. Temps are great for this time of year.

Well I took PTO for next week, I put it in back in January. I was hoping that it was supposed to be the start of rut and cool, but it's going to be in the 70s all week and everything I'm reading now says rut in Middle TN probably won't start till mid to late November. Everything I read last year said first week of November which is why I put my PTO in for next week.

Hopefully I didn't take PTO too early.

Atleast I'll be in the woods and not stuck at work.
