I bought a RCBS Partner Reloading Press and was wondering are 45-70 holders universal or do i have to buy RCBS ?

Are you reloading for a lever gun or single shot ?

When reloading for a lever gun, you can't use bullets such as the Hornady FTX or anything pointy because the overall length will be too long. Unless you use special hornady brass that is shorter in length like the lever revolution brass. This will allow the longer bullet.
