Man he sounds like a handful.. or his baggage is! Maybe he can quiet the outside noise for 3-4 years and get paid for his ability. Willing to bet he turns into a "shoulda been" like so many others. Sad deal really

Some of these guys have unreal talent and they choose to waste it. Happens all the time in all sports. I don't get it.

TN has had so many 5 stars who were total busts.

Hopefully, the team has some leaders who will be able to mold him.

I think a lot of it comes from being told how great they were from an early age, where their God-given physical ability set them apart from others their age, even up to the high school age.

Then all of a sudden they find themselves facing other athletes just as good as they are, and they don't have the mentality nor work ethic to push themselves to improve.

Add to that, many have got away with drug use, and now that is being taken away.

Commits to Vols, no 1 player in state
so I am confused. Boo Carter is listed as the 411 player in the nation, # 8 in the state, and a 3 star by 24/7...

***Edit***
Rivals does have him as the #1 in state maybe that is what you are going off of?
ESPN has him as #6 and a 4 star as well.

wonder why 24/7 has him rated so low?

There is always some variations between the diff evaluators. I'm starting to like what on3 does over any of the others
