Cabelas Supet Tatr lll

I bought the tactical tatr with kickstand this year and like it. Love not having to have a tree to lean against. Took some adjusting but got it to fit just right.
That seems to be a neat feature. That would be handy. I just have timber to hunt so I probably won't spend the extra for the kick stand.

I wear a tactical tater and it is awesome, that one is too long for me

X2 It's the best vest I've ever owned. I bought the first version. It's still holding up too. Not a ounce of wear can be found on it. I wore out 2 super elite vests in 2 years before I got the tater

i am way too mobile to use a space suit like that. just a pair of camp running pants and long sleeve under armour crew neck and a set of merrel sport hikers for me.

I don't know what you consider mobile but my average hike/climb in is a mile and many times I'll end up covering several more miles of wicked mountain terrain.

Having spent a day or two in Marshall County I can guarantee those little bumps in the land pale in comparison to what the original poster and I scale each season.

I'd love to hunt in running pants and a long sleeve shirt, however the briars would shred both off of me daily and not having water would be life threatening when your not 50 yards from the truck.

It's fine if you don't like vests, but you honestly are clueless based off your comments when it comes to what it takes to hunt rugged terrain and really put in some miles while turkey hunting.

Try toting a bird up and over a mountain sometime without the aid of a large back pocket to stuff it in, then come on back and tell us about space suits

Until you work your way up to Crowders Orchard and work your way back to Double Camp you have not seen rough. Just saying.

I can assure you I am as mobile as they come I look like a hobo hiking down I-40, But I don't let my vest and gear slow me down. It may sweat me a little more but I am just looking for a little more room. I wish I could get by with hikers but I am afraid I would twist an ankle on these hill sides.

Wearing hikers here will lead to a trip to the emergency room. Not only would you break an ankle, but the biggest problem is the plentiful venomous serpents we have. I will not turkey hunt without snake boots, period. I see way too many copperheads and rattlesnakes to roll the dice with low cut hikers.

Yep I wear my snake boots for sure got lots of them copperheads I have saw a few rattlers on that property as well. Behind my house on the company farm is loaded with them I won't coonhunt during warm weather there. It seems to be the worse place I ever been for snakes.

I am also mobile, but I do not hunt the mountains of the east as yall do. I do have some experience hunting Talledega in AL, not as bad as East TN but still worse than Middle TN.

I do not wear "hikers" whatever they may be. I wear snakeboots, and right now I wear the Danner Jackals. I wear them from protection from snakes, waterproof up to 16"s, support, agility, speed, and comfort. My Danners are like wearing Basketball shoes, football cleats, marathon runner shoes, or whatever.

If I have to walk alot in the woods, whether I am hunting or doing something else, I wear snakeboots unless it is very very cold.
