Yeah...it's Chinese. But the reviews mostly go good...lots of 5 star reviews. Even some YouTube videos of it's performance. There are some bad reviews out there as well...but only a small fraction of the good ones.
My saws are all Stihl or Echo...but I'm tempted...just to see. I'm mean...a 62 cc saw for 20 percent of what I paid for my 59cc echo??
It's tempting... 😂
Oh well...just passing it along.

Note...I'm about positive that parts would be unobtainable, so...🤷

Don't know anything about these chainsaws, but I just have a personal rule about them - buy the best..i.e. Stihl, Husky, or Echo. Too much time, effort, work goes into cutting trees. I don't have time, patience, or strength to deal with an unreliable chainsaw. Plus - with a Stihl - if something does go wrong, I just drop it off at the Co-op for repair. I've wasted too much time in my life dealing with a cheap chainsaw that worked great the first 3 or 6 times - and then I had to fight it thereafter. Just one of my life rules.

It will probably run fine until you need it, then will refuse to start/run. That's the way my Poulan would do. I could crank it on 3 pulls every single time, unless i was actually wanting to use it.

That green chainsaw was maybe the only thing that I ever returned to exchange for a totally different saw.
When I was about 10...dad had one. We had a wood stove in the basement for supplemental heat. Occasionally we had to go cut a load of wood.
I still remember the cussing that saw would get... 😂 😂

I bought a Poulan on Black Friday a few years ago for around $100. One of the best purchases I have made. Here's why. Had a problem and took it for warranty service. Northern Tool was the closest. Got word that it couldn't be repaired and Poulan would replace it. Apparently after talking to Poulan, they were amazingly able to repair it.? Of course, it didn't work right. I called customer service and was relentless that it couldn't be repaired, was told by Northern Tool that it couldn't be repaired, etc. I refused to accept anything other than replacement. Finally the customer service guy agreed to send me a new Husqvarna….same company. Great saw that is still running strong. Therefore, that $100 Poulan is the best $100 saw I ever bought!

Who sent you the Husqvarna...poulan or Northern tool?

I was forced to buy a green machine. Ice storm of 94, I had no chainsaw but needed one. Closest big box store was Home Depot and this was the last chainsaw they had. It served me well for 25 years and then the recoil clutch gave out and I took it to my small engine guy. He said it was a refurbished saw when I bought it and the parts he needed to fix it weren't available. I bought an Echo to replace it and have more trouble starting it than the Poulan but once it gets going, it'll cut the fire out of wood.
