"IF" he was a canidate for the auburn job he probably should have taken that one.He will probably announce his new job as soon as I post this, but I don't see him moving. I think he's happy at Ole Miss. He's building a great program in spite of the difficulty of recruiting/buying players there. He's already tried the move to his dream job and failed miserably. Oxford is a great place to live. Ole Miss fans aren't like the inbreds in Tuscaloser that worship a successful football coach like sane people worship God (I bet he can go out to eat with his family without being mobbed). I really think he wants to prove he can win big at Ole Miss and he's already getting close. So......look for a presser this afternoon when he will announce he is leaving Ole Miss.
Not sure he was ever in line for it though.
He missed another great hire at Texas A&M but not sure they would have considered him either. No state Income tax there would have gotten him another 5% raise right there.
By all reports he was never even considered for the ALABAMA job. If he was holding out hope for that job the message is clear. He is not welcome at ALABAMA.
The Michican job will be open very soon most likley and I am sure his name will be thrown out there AGAIN. Doubt he will be seriously considered but you never know.
