pulling cables is fine if you can secure it properly every couple of feet. if not youll more than likely end up replacing it sooner than later. marine rated conductor is more heavy duty but still prone to breakage or wear bouncing around in a boat.

When you gorilla tape make it like a ramp so it will jump other cables and obstacles also

thats why God made pulling grips and pulling socks so you dont have to use gorilla tape.

One thing I did with my first install at the front of the boat was run some heavy trotline twine with the cables from the back and from the console. Tied off at back near batteries and near console and then at the front of the boat. Makes it a lot easier to pull the fish tape or wires from either direction. Already used it two or three times since.

The worst installs are these new bass boats with small rigging tubes.The livescope transducer connector is huge,we have had a few occasions were we had to pull every wire .Then run the big livescope end and re install all the other cables.No othet way to do it when the hull is full of foam.
