Fall turkey season?

If I don't have a sportsman license how do I get entered for the fall turkey gun season?

Depends on your age. If 16 to 64, you need Type 01 license, Type 09 big game gun license (if hunting with shotgun) and Type 94 permit and the county has to have a season. And hunter safety if born on or after Jan. 1, 1969.

Don't you have to have your name drawn for fall turkey season? How do you get entered for it?

Special season fall turkey and deer hunts are nor non-quota, which means you buy a non-quota permit or have a license that covers it and go hunt. Check the hunting guide for open counties.

Don't have a clue. That's Region I and I am in Region IV.

I'm in west Tennessee also and don't have a clue why there's no hunting this fall. Luckily, I've got a family farm in middle Tennessee.

Game warden in McNairy County told me it was due to the terrible hatch this summer.
