I am curious .. what is FAU history with Shenanigans??? Anyone know??

LOL, are you serious?. It isn't FAU's history he's talking about. It's Kiffin's, and that is why Houston said "No thanks"!

Maybe he's straightened up, but until he proves that he has, no big school is willing to take that chance.

I understood that.

My question was/is to FAU history with covering up shenanigans. Have they had violations in the past? That sort of thing. Please and Thank You.

He is a single man now, so some of those off the field "issues" shouldn't really be issues. As long as the "issues" don't involve students.

Kiffins Bama salary-$1.4mil

Kiffins new gig- $1mil

That sounds reasonable with a 5-year deal which he didn't have at Alabama. What about incentives? Performance bonuses etc... Head coaches get a lot more lucrative perks that OC's don't.

I thought so too. Being a HC instead of a OC does have its advantages.

He must have really wanted out of Tuscaloosa. Willing to take a $400K pay cut to do it.

I can't take credit for this, but I heard the following today: if you read Kiffin's career backward, it would make sense. Head coach at a Florida directional school. Parlays his offensive prowess into an OC position and helps Alabama win a national championship. Parlays his Bama success for HC at USC, but is fired after 5 years. Lands at Tennessee, but jumps to the NFL after two years. That all makes sense, but not his actual career trajectory.
