Fayette county rut

Saw a buck chasing a doe this morning. Seems a little early but I guess rut follows a bell curve and now is the front edge.

Saw 3 different bucks cruising in Fayette this morning. One was chasing a doe and saw a different buck yesterday chasing a doe as well. Its starting to pick up.

Yearling bucks have been chasing hard past 1.5 weeks. 2.5yos are starting to chase now. 3.5yos should be working scrapes in daylight and cruising for does. The 4.5yos won't participate until the does start to come in... another week or so in my farms, but not in earnest for another 10 days.

Saw small bucks moving and pestering does yesterday. Haven't seen any scrapes where I hunt but it should be starting soon.

same in petersburg, young doe was in and had about 3-4 bucks that wouldnt leave here alone, mature buck was one of em..
