I'm being a smartaleck, I don't really want a hawk season.
I'm all for cutting the fall season to one or two birds and banning any hen (regardless of beard) killing in the spring. I try to kill two turkeys a year from the property I turkey hunt, I've never tried to kill more than that. It's a few hundred acres that, at times, is covered up in gobblers, but I don't want to overshoot the property.
