Got area 48 for friday.Anyone else hunting then?

I may not make it to the fort this weekend. I'm thinking about concentrating on a spot in ky.

If I am around, I'll help you drag that big buck out. :)

Good luck in 48 @fulldraw, I MAY get one more hunt in this year but I doubt it...good luck later in the year as well. Hopefully I will see you around next year

That's mr. bro heading to 48. I don't know where I'll be this weekend. Hopefully you'll get one more in and make it count. Thanks for the luck. I need it!

I'm still at home.Looks like rain up that way.Heading out here in a few minutes. Will hunt the "Daytimr Monster" this evening and friday morning. Will hunt 48 friday evening.

Good luck to all.

Just my opinion, but the deer ...(in the bow areas) on fort campbell are hard to kill.3 hunts this year and only saw deer on 1 of them.. the deer were very alert as usual. this has been my experience over the years. I know there are good deer in there but they seem " well trained " any thoughts?

Thanks. The bucks in the bow areas tend to know where hunters like to be. You got to hunt where the deer are going to escape to. That's the hard part.

I've only hunted a few times but the acorns are making it hard to see deer. I have yet to see a buck.

That is definitely tough... cause even if you know where they travel through, like you said you have to try to hunt other places... hard to hunt off of other hunters

I rarely run into other hunters believe itor not.. I think the access to those areas throws things off a little as well, the bow areas I hunt only have basically one direction to be accessed.Almost like a deer drive!
