Duke would of been out-manned against us, plain and simple. Not enough bigs and their guards are too small.. Duke did beat WI twice it was a bad matchup for the Badgers because they are not as quick as Duke.....Not to mention they were wore out because they have no depth and had to play so many minutes thru out the tourney..

Duke won that game with 4 freshman... KY had plenty of freshman that couldn't hold a lead against a worn out Wisconsin team... You sound silly saying outmanned against KY. LSU, Ole Miss and A&M should have beaten KY and they are nothing. So Duke and Coach K would have beaten KY reguardless. Coach K doubles Cals salary for a reason. 9.7 million to K vs 4.5 to Cal

We would of killed PUKE...it always amazes me how they get an easy road.....They shouldn't of ever been a #1 seed to start with.

A = Duke
B = Wisconsin
C = Kentucky

Not when Duke beat Wisconsin twice and Wisconsin beat KY. It is simple to most that doesn't look through BBN glasses.

Really grasping for something to hold onto now. If the coaching and talent was that far superior then it would be Cowpile and Kentucky with the National Championship trophy and not Coach K and Duke. I really think the big difference was the schedule Duke played against all year vs Kentucky's. Duke played the likes of Wisconsin, Michigan St, Louisville, Syracuse, Notre Dame, UNC, Virginia, etc,. before the tournament even started and some of them multiple times. Kentucky had played Kansas, Louisville, and UNC early on. Duke would of done the same thing to Kentucky that Wisconsin did. Drive the ball to the basket and shoot well from the perimeter. I didn't see Kentucky's size as being that great of an issue for their opponents. Take Notre Dame for example who was dwarfed by Kentucky. ND was effective in taking the ball to the rim and UK had to be disappointed in how well both ND and Wisconsin was able to crash the boards against them.

I stopped in Opry Mills the other day to grab some new clothes and spend some time in Bass Pro. I wanted a new Duke shirt and couldn't find any, but they had tons of UK stuff and even had the 38-0 shirts. I asked why they didn't have any Duke stuff. They said they just never sold much of it. How many freshman did your boys have? How many of them wont be back? Duke is just as bad as us as far as that goes...Matter of fact I think we had more upperclassman playing than Duke......But hey I guess Coach K picking Plumlee for his team last summer paid off because he sure wasn't deserving of being on the team. Yet, Coach K is great....He operates in the gray just like all the rest. He's no better than anyone else. And yall you Coach Cal haters, whoever you are, are pathetic as well. Not many guys out there can get guys to sacrifice minutes and stats for the good of the team...
