Interesting considering that Dobbs couldn't win the starting job his freshman or sophomore season against below avg. competition. Only reason that he got to play was that several qbs at UT got injuried. Have to make you wonder...

Coach Jones wanted to redshirt him until he was forced to play him,Dobbs shocked fans and I think Coach Jones also with his ability to throw and run.I'm sure Coach Jones probably wished now that he should have started him from the beginning of last season.Josh Dobbs is who got Tennessee to 7 wins.If Worley hadn't got injured,Tennessee would not reached bowl eligibility last season.

It's either comes down to CBJ not being a good judge of talent or Dobbs hasn't really proved himself and hasn't played the tough teams. No coach throws a season to redshirt a qb. Coaches will always play the players that gives them the best chance to win. Has to make you wonder and time will tell.
