HOF game cancelled....

After the wrong paint was used in preparing the field for the game, the NFL's preseason opener, the Hall of Fame Game, has been cancelled due to unsafe playing conditions on the field. The NFL confirmed the news after multiple media outlets reported it.
The decision came down after the paint that was used to color the 50-yard line, endzones and sidelines apparently congealed after being applied, which would make the playing surface sticky and difficult to run on.

Not sure how big of a crowd would attend, and it would be bad if you had, but it's the first pre-season game of the year. If there's an issue that might cause ACL tears, etc., then it's a good call.
Can you imagine the uproar if they played the game, and then had someone have a season-ending injury as a result?

It was an "extra" PreSeason game for the packers & Colts they still have 4 PreSeason games left same as everyone else.
Andrew luck, and Aaron Rogers, and starters was not gonna play much at all if any. It was reported a while back many of starters was not gonna play at all, and the ones that do might just play a series Since they have 4 other PreSeason games left.
So the rookies, and the walk on's, and back up players trying to make a roaster. Is the ones that took the biggest hit. Even if they didn't make it with one of them teams if they played well they would have good film to show another team. They would have got to play more in that game then any other game this PreSeason/year.
