How fast does your bow shoot?

I have a PSE Axe 6 and Dream Season 7 , both are fast , but I have never shot an arrow through a chrono with either bow . I have actually slowed them down by backing off the draw weight and just tuning them to shoot as accurate as possible . I'm striving for the best tuned bow that shoots a perfect arrow , not the most FPS out of my setups .

Just curious.....how fast is your bow? Whats your draw length, draw weight, arrow size/weight, and size of field tip/broad head???
lol @ all the non speed answers!!!

Kind of like if someone asked how fast your car is but yall answer "Fast enough, it gets me to work".

lol

I have no idea and don't care.

You say that with such arrogance and wisdom but knowing your arrow speed is a benefit. I run OnTarget2 software and knowing arrow speed and all of my other specs helps find correct arrow spine and trajectory.

I get that you are no caught up in the "speed" crowd, but actually knowing your arrow speed is a good thing.

X2 I guess UT Grads think alike!

You say that with such certainty because it matters to you. I shoot, it hits where I aim with good arrow flight. Speed doesn't make one bit of difference to me as several others on this thread said. But you are a UT grad. That is why it matters to you. I went to UW. We just cared about killing and didn't have anybody smart enough to figure KE. :)

I have no idea. I can see the benefits of knowing speed if your goal is flatter trajectory or your KE if you want to shoot a large cut BH. I just go with something similar to what as worked for me in the past. I only bow hunt and I hunt a lot in the late season when the temps are down. The most important thing for me is shooting a draw weight that is extremely comfortable to draw anytime of the year no matter the layers I'm wearing..

X2 Just makes someone who answers that way sound like a smart @$$ to me...

And those comments came from the most experienced bow hunters on this forum . Words of wisdom . No matter what the speed I'm shooting , I know where that arrow is going . For some experienced bowhunters , getting the most FPS out of any setup isnt what matters most , it's getting that bow to perform , tune and shoot accurately enought to get lung blood on an arrow and a short blood trail . In the end , that's all that matters to me .
