Very pretty bird. I saw a hen in this color phase last fall, but havent seen her since.
There is a jake on a friends place nearby that is grey phase. We are all taking bets on whether it will last to be a mature bird or will be harvested this spring. I am sure not having natural camo would also make you more susceptible to coyotes too.
Anyways awesome kill! Are you thinking of having it mounted? You could also have it caped with the wings spread for much cheaper, I had one done this way but 10yrs and many moves resulted in me having to part with it.
