I hate to ask this...

I don't know him from Adam and never had any dealings with him but that's piss poor in my book assuming he's doing fine and not laid up in the hospital or dead. One of my biggest pet peeves is not getting a returned call / email / text. A quick text or email is easy and is nothing more than common courtesy. Good luck!!!

Not defending him one bit but you have to be aware this is by far the most busy time of year for the guy. Call orders as well as shows he has commited to. I'm sure you are not the only one trying to call and get some info. He is a one man shop basically so your limited to 1 guy trying to answer a lot of calls and emails which allows things to fall through the cracks. I'd be pissed to and I'd just keep calling and when I did get a hold of him let him know I'm not happy. His response would tell me all I needed to know.

The times I've called he usually got back with me pretty fast but I've never tried and call right before turkey season opening for a lot of states.

In my book it doesn't matter wat time of year it is. He got his $ so he should at least follow up with the customer that bought it from him since he was already paid. BS is what I call. Word of mouth is your best business partner.

Don't worry, David has plenty of business and most of it came from word of mouth. ;)

Lol
Yeah the positive by far out ways the negative.
BC is the only person I've heard of that has had anything negative to say.

I had a shipping issue with David on a box call that I ordered during the 2012 season. Weeks went by and the season eventually ended and my call, which was supposedly in stock when I ordered it, still hadn't shipped. However, David made up for it by not sending me what I ordered. Instead, he sent me one of a limited run of box calls that he had made. It was a definite upgrade over what I had ordered and has been my favorite call since I received it. I killed my first turkey in Hawaii with it.

I got mine in Monday. Just hadn't had time to post about it. I don't know if what happened to it would be covered under warranty and don't know that there would be a warranty on a turkey call. He took care of me though.

It appears he replaced the call with a new one. It sounds great and I can't wait to try it out on the birds.

That is awesome and exactly what he and I discussed on the phone.
Glad he made it right but would this have happened without your intervention Andy S? It seems as though nothing really happened until you intervened.

I believe the answer is yes. Again I don't know that he had to let me send it back. The playing surface cracked but he could've said "you did it, too bad".

He said he would at least fix it from word go. Now would it have gotten done as quickly???? I doubt it, but there is no real way to know.

I will say this if I was working and I was really busy and somebody that I did not know called me and I was way behind, i'd probably just keep working. However, if someone I knew called me I would probably answer the phone if they called me more than once.

We can debate on whether that's right or wrong, good or bad for business, all day, but it's probably more or less just human nature.

From reading the first post in this thread, I believe I would have had my wife emailing the entire time. She was getting a response in just a few hours.
