I might have figured out whats going on this year

Its been the craziest year for turkeys on my place this year, they were there in droves early, then disappeared and what is there wont act right at all.

I have a bunch of bobcats, and loads of coyotes, but I think they have been around enough the turkeys are not affected as much.

Saturday I checked one card as I walked by the camera to set up, when scrolling through on my viewer, at 12:07 pm a man and his son come strolling by turkey hunting.

My place is small, there is ZERO reason to poach on me, all the great ground is surrounding me so its really stupid to bother with.

Pretty bummed out and I ended up cutting out 3 hours before flyup after hearing all of 2 gobbles the entire day.

Nope. I sent the pic to both landowners on each side of me, they did no recognize them.

I have a good idea of where they came from, but there is about 20 houses on the only road that direction (about a mile away), no other way they could have gotten in there though.

Without catching them in the act, and even then I dont think that means anything, I think the man or a sheriff has to catch them.

We've had trespassers as well, in Gibson county 3 times and once on a property in Hardeman county.


I just cannot get away from them.

When comfronting 1 of them they just ran so they knew they were in the wrong.

Same thing at my place on occasion, have provided images to the "law" they just can't do much unless caught in the act.
