I don't see a punk,a NASCAR cospiracy,or a guy who lucked into 3 championships.I see a guy who has earned his place among NASCAR's legends.
 
excellent driver,best crewchief in the garage(maybe ever),best resources at Hendrick,best pitcrew,and very good luck = CHAMPIONSHIPS. theres no telling how many more he could win.
 
One of the best crewchief, team, and driver combinations in NASCAR and will be a tough act to follow.
 
At the first of the year when JGR was winning everything... they got caught cheating... maybe they will learn to cheat more near the end of the season, rather than using all the "talents" when it doesnt count as much....lol

Like him or not, he's the man right now, and it looks like he will be for awhile. Rut, not tryin to step on ya, but your facts are a little wrong. 2006 and 2008 trophies would have the 48 on em under either points system. Whatever the points system, everybody knows the rules before the season starts and when its "playoff" time, the 48 comes outta tha gate like a sack a h%ll. I expect he's gonna be hard to andle again when we fire'em up in about 5 weeks. Man i can't wait for it to get back to racin season!
 
if jimmy would have started driving , HUT STRICTLANDS old cars, GORDON would have a 3 way tie for the most championships,, they are a good team the 48, but he walked into some of the best cars that.ray everham had ever built.. johnson hadnt been upside down enough, or tasted the catch fence ,enough times to be that great a driver,, he walked into a sweet deal with high heels on , and is still wearing them .lol

i'm no JJ fan by no means,but you have to admit he's one of the greatest drivers. he has landed in the best cars in nascar for sure,but you have to remember he has won 2 championships in the COT. totally new cars to everybody. he turns bad finished into good finishes and thats what it takes to be a champion. doesnt hurt he has the best crew chief either.
