I cannot believe how hot it was today. Im gonna try to get out here locally tomorrow evening. On to Missouri for their gun opener this weekend. GL all.
What part of MO are you hitting?
I'm assuming up north. I'll be heading to Reynolds County early Friday morning. The weather is lining up for a good opening day, last year we woke up to 6" of unforecasted snow

I'm not that lucky. Friends farm is in Pulaski county. Still some very big deer killed out there. GL on the opener!

Pulled into the lane this evening after a forced-against-my-will trip to Gatlinburg and was happy to see 5 deer in the front field and 3 off the front porch in the valley.

made it out this evening in Rutherford. 3-4 pm saw 9-10 does feeding calmly. Out comes 3 bucks, looks like a couple year and half olds and one 2.5 year old. The 2.5 year old was a forky with real mass and height! ive never seen a fork horn that big. if I had a third buck tag, id be likely to shoot him next time it was such a cool rack. They'd pester the does a little but still definitely not chasing. They all fed together and then disappeared when it started raining. I was soaked by the time I got back to the truck. heading to Missouri at 6 am tomorrow. Hold it down in Tennessee for me yall.

Seen a buck running a doe across the street right in front of me yesterday at 11. I had just left my hunting spot.
