Had a coyote come through behind me and to my right about 8, tried lip squeaking and did get it to stop, but it continued on steady where I never could get on it with a clear shot. Coyote was headed towards the bottom. Wind had picked up, so I got down and walked to the bottom to see if might get lucky and intercept Wiley down there, but no luck this time.

My cell cam had pretty good antlerless activity while I was walking back.

Just shot or shot at a yote on the run. I was hoping I would get a better chance on the one I saw this morning. Gun clanked when I put it up on the rest and yote took off hard. Thought i saw it roll through my scope, not sure I hit it though. Really wasn't expecting one to come from where it came from. Doe and fawn still grazing, not bothered at all. Funny think they ever saw it, but it was headed straight for them.

Another one down, number 6.

Deer and whatever else they find. I am sure they are also eating corn from feeders on nearby properties.
Where we used to live, I believe it was rabbits, turkey poults, and who knows what else.
After I built a few shelter spots for the rabbits to get away from predators, the rabbit population started to grow, and I started seeing Bobcats on a regular basis as well.

Surprisingly, we do have some rabbits. I am sure coyotes get turkeys and rabbits though. The coyote I killed before this one had been eating corn somewhere. I seriously doubt there is any standing corn around here, I don't know if they even eat corn from the stalks, I know they eat corn at bait piles though.

I have yet to see a bobcat this season, which is rare. Have only gotten a couple tall can pics of cats. Thinning out the coyotes should help all the other wildlife and livestock. I have cows, and there are cows on the property next to mine, I hate coyotes.

Amen!
I know for a fact that yotes will eat cantaloupe as well. The first time I was told that by my neighbor I really didn't believe him.
Dagburn suckers will resort to any method to survive.
