How my luck has been!! I had to cook turkeys for thanksgiving and one of my hitlisters was on camera 40 yards from my stand I was going to hunt lolI should have been in the stand this morning
First decent buck in daylight this year…
I'm tagged out so I went in checking cams today and bumped four different bucks. Got home a going through cards and I'm wishing I wasn't tagged out. Action is hot right now.
Found these rubs. The one in video is still green so it happened within hours of me being there. Backpack shows size of tree, probably 4". Both trees about same size and deeply gouged.

I saw a buck at 930am tending a doe in a corn field just feet off the highway. Stood like a statue as she ate.

Went out this evening seen three deer . Doe with a yearling and a spike buck . He came back through grunting and eat out of my salt lick for the longest . I videoed him . Tried to wait him out but kinda run him off daughter had dinner waiting on me to eat told my wife for you all "eat" .

Pretty morning, low 40's almost no wind. Been a pair of yotes coming through this bottom, hoping to catch up with them. Tons of squirrels and birds this morning, all I am seeing here so far.

Saw 4 different bucks and 3 does in Humphreys County. Bucks ranged from 3.5 yo 9 point to 1.5 yo 6 point. All of them seemed to be on a mission and walked the exact same path with their nose to the ground. Indication of the 2nd rut in this area in my opinion.

After 2 weeks off nursing a swollen knee I'm back up a treeagain. Pulled cards on the way in. Good news my best buck survived ky gun season.

Overcast and a little foggy here. Got my 12 year old son out again this afternoon. Have not had any luck trying to get him on a buck, yet. Haven't seen a single deer this afternoon.

Back in the bottom this morning. Just popped another coyote about 120 yards out, number 5 of the season down. Maybe another will show.
Back out here this morning. This 10 mph wind seems to be about 30mph on top of this hill. Shaking my stand pretty good.

Yeah, pretty stiff wind here too. I don't think the weather peeps got the temp quite right either. Said it was 50 going to drop to 47 by sunrise. Glad I wore my bibs.
