Slipped into the ladder stand after work. Hoping cold evening might draw them in. Forgot my orange hat, so I had to wrap an orange vest around my head like a turban

Was in this stand for 3 minutes last week and had a big doe on the ground. 27 degrees when I pulled up this morning.

Big ugly buck I wanted to see in person just came through. Big heavy bladed fork past his right ear and the other side just a long dagger with a little brow. I thought he was a 3.5 from nighttime trail cam pics, but after watching him this morning thinking he may be older.

I looked back, didn't realize I had gotten two daytime pics of him yesterday. He may be older than 3.5...

Glorious morning in Wayne Co & things are picking up! Watching 10-15 acres of 4 yr old cutover bordered by hardwood hollows.

Pics of doe by themselves at scrapes, 2 different 8pts at different scrapes in daylight, seen 4 does so far all by themselves, one with tail stuck straight out being chased by a big 4 point (16"), and a 3yr old 8 cruising hard. Only 2 night pics on 3 cell cams, 12-15 since daylight.

Add 2 spikes, another 4 & a doe to list seen.

Pretty morning, but the wind is picking up. Only seen a couple little guys and a doe with her fawn so far this morning.
