Muzzleloader Distance

"Confident"?
100 yds, but that's only b/c I only hunt tight areas and have never felt the need to push it further. I'm sure I could dial it in at 150 yds, but I have a junkie $30 scope (b/c it's marginally better than tru-glo).
100 gr White Hots
270 Powerbelts
CVA Optima

200, as well
But, until my elk in Utah, which was at 100yds even, my longest shots at whitetail, mulie and assorted coyotes has been 50yds and under.

I have killed deer and coyotes out to nearly 200. If I had more room to stretch it out, I wouldn't be afraid to go out to 250. Accura v2 120 grains triple 7 pushing a 45 caliber 240 grain xtp mag.
Those are some of the best MZ bullets I've found, always accurate.

As far as distance, I've killed deer in another county with them before.

100 yards , 58 caliber Flintlock 44 inch barrel, iron sights, 100 g fff goex, .20 oxyoke patch, .562 round ball. This is a muzzleloader section correct? Wet opening day, keep your powder dry, I hope I did. Update: After 2 days of hunting I decided to go ahead and fire my load. Went off instantly, gave her a good bath and her favorite bear oil. I will break her out again Thursday with a new load.
