I've only caught a few on the main lake, while throwing crayfish colored cranks for Smallies on gravelly points. The best walleye fishing I've had was directly below the Old Hickory Dam, after dark, in January through early March.
If I was going to get serious for Walleye, I'd concentrate on Center Hill.
