Good luck. I have killed 3 gobblers this spring but I think it's been all luck 90 percent of the time. Killed 1 on April 4 and the other 2 were killed on April 22 & 26. Only the last one I killed is the only one I heard gobble after flydown but he only gobbled once then. I'm in the same area as you are and to me it been the weirdest spring as far as turkey behavior and gobbling. The 2nd bird I killed was with 2 more long beards and had came from a long way away and even crossed a rd. they never gobbled or strutted. When they got to the other edge of the field I was in I called and they picked there heads up for a second and continued feeding. It took them 45 mins to come 80 yards and they never once acted interested once they got close. ?
