So it looks like the archery opener will be on the same Saturday as the Tennessee vs Florida game. The game is at Florida and the game time has not been set yet. What will be your plan for Saturday, 9/26? Will you try to hunt and also watch the game? Will you hunt and skip the game? Will you watch the game and skip the season opener? What if it's an early game and the Vols finally win? Will you skip hunting to celebrate? If the Vols lose and the streak goes to 11 games, will you be too depressed to hunt?

Depending on the game time, this could be a big decision for you Vol fans. [emoji3]

Not a Vol fan of course. The hint would be my username and place of birth.

I will do what I do for most of FL big games. Hunt the morning and drive the 35 minute trip home. Since that is early season and still hot. The deer will move in the early morning and late evening. Nov. Is a different story... :)

Easy DVR it. Go hunting. Keep up with score on phone. If vols win watch it and laugh at the gators all night. I have took ear phones and a walkman to the stand before but not bow hunting.

If its like recent archery openers I'll be at home and watch the game. Have bow hunted a handful of times in the last 10 years because I just don't care to hunt when its 90+ degrees. If the weather is decent i might hunt and then hope my buddy is down the road at his camp with satellite TV. :tu:

No reason to watch, wrangler already promised us all what is gonna happen and ruined it for all of us. Might as well hunt, or fish, or sleep.

So you never watch the TN - UF game??????? But the funny part of your post was taking a WALKMAN to the stand. You still use those???

Lol. No if it is a noon game I'm locked on the TV. But opening day prevails.

I was meaning by your post "If the Vols win I will watch it" they never beat UF so I assume you never see that game. :stir:

I DVR every game and watch later to skip the commercials.

I also take an old cassette player walkman to listen to Titans games sometimes. It picks up great and is much better than using my phone.

Concerning the UF game, this game is destined for a 11:00 am central start, so it really shouldn't be a factor as far as those wanting to bow hunt. Now, if we were playing UGA, SC, Missouri, or Kentucky, it would probably get a more favorable time slot :rotf: !

We all know how accurate his predictions on this game have been over the years!

I'll go hunting and just keep up with it on my phone, no way a football game will make me miss a hunt unless I actually had tickets to it
